Get started with Kairotope
Kairotope plans your errands and commitments inside your AI assistant (Meta Muse, ChatGPT or Claude): the stops in the right order, around opening hours and live traffic, with a time to leave. Setup takes about five minutes.
- Plan at least three real days over the next few weeks (busy ones are best).
- Tap an answer in the evening "How did it go?" email.
- Tell us when a plan is wrong or awkward: reply to any Kairotope email or write to hello@kairotope.com.
-
Create your account
Choose Get started at the top of any page and enter your email. We'll send a one-time sign-in link (there's no password). That's your account, with a free trial.

Connect your assistant
Kairotope works in Meta Muse, ChatGPT and Claude. In each, you sign in to Kairotope from the assistant; there's no token to copy.
Meta Muse
In Muse's main chat (not a side chat), say:
"Connect Kairotope at https://kairotope.com/mcp via OAuth."
Press Connect on the card Muse shows, then Connect on Meta's screen. Sign in to Kairotope with your email (open the emailed link in the same browser) and press Allow. When Muse asks to share information with kairotope.com, choose Always allow this site, or Muse will ask before every step.
If Muse asks for a token instead, choose Create a token under Assistants in your account and paste it into Muse's secure prompt. Never paste a token into the chat itself.
ChatGPT
Set it up once at chatgpt.com on a computer; after that it works in the ChatGPT app on your phone too.
- Open Plugins, press + and choose Add custom MCP server.
- Name it Kairotope, enter https://kairotope.com/mcp, choose OAuth, accept ChatGPT's warning and create it.
- Press Connect, then Continue to Kairotope. Sign in with your email (open the emailed link in the same browser as ChatGPT) and press Allow.
- In a new chat, start with @Kairotope (or say "use Kairotope") and ask it to plan your day. Without it, ChatGPT plans the day itself, with guessed times.
If the connection fails, press Connect again. Don't see Add custom MCP server? It may depend on your ChatGPT plan, or on a work or school account, an admin may have turned it off.
Claude
- At claude.ai, open Settings, then Connectors. Press Add and choose Add custom connector.
- Name it Kairotope and enter https://kairotope.com/mcp. Keep the options Claude detects: Sign in now and Use Claude's published identity. Press Add.
- Sign in to Kairotope with your email (open the emailed link in the same browser) and press Allow.
- In a new chat, say "use Kairotope" and ask it to plan your day.
Don't see Add custom connector? It may depend on your Claude plan, or your organization's admin may have turned it off.

Tell Kairotope your places
Kairotope plans better when it knows the places in your life. Tell your assistant things like:
- "Remember that home is 123 Oak Street, Cedar Park."
- "My pharmacy is the Walgreens on Whitestone."
- "My grocery store is the H-E-B on Whitestone."
- "Sam's swim school is Waterloo Swim School."
- "I don't want to drive more than 30 minutes for an errand."
Kairotope saves these to your account (addresses are encrypted), so every plan uses them. If your assistant ever asks "Is this your usual pharmacy?", saying yes saves it too.
-
Plan a day
Say what the day needs, in your own words:
- "Pick up my prescription, get groceries, return these shoes and be at dinner at The Oasis by 7."
- "Plan my Saturday: soccer at 10 for two hours, a birthday party at 2, and I need a haircut."
- "Tomorrow I work out at 8, get my son to practice by 10, then lunch, then swimming by 3."
Tips for better plans:
- Give commitments a time, and a length if you know it ("soccer at 10 for two hours").
- Name the store when it matters ("the CVS on C-Bar Ranch"), or let Kairotope pick the best one on the way.
- Mention kids ("pick up Sam"): Kairotope leaves extra time for pickups.
- Say where the day ends ("be home by 6") if it matters.
-
Lock it in
When the plan looks right, say "sounds good, lock it in" (or "confirm"). That evening you'll get a short "How did it go?" email: one tap tells us whether the day went to plan, and it's how Kairotope learns what works for you.
On the day, Kairotope watches the traffic for you. If a drive is running slow, you'll get an email telling you when to leave instead, or which errand to skip to make your next commitment. Each email has a link to stop them.
Every plan also comes with a link to your day on a map: the stops in order, when to leave for each, and a Directions button that opens Apple Maps or Google Maps. Send it to whoever's driving; "Share without home" makes a copy that leaves your home off. If your assistant doesn't show the link, ask "what's the map link?"
Plans change. Just say so: "we're leaving 20 minutes late", "skip the shoe return" or "use the H-E-B on 1431 instead".

Check your plans any time
Ask "Check Kairotope: what are my plans?" You'll get your upcoming days from Kairotope's records, marked as locked in or not.
Good to know
- Muse has its own memory. It sometimes answers from what it remembers rather than asking Kairotope. Starting with "Check Kairotope" makes sure you get the current plan.
- When we add features, we'll email you. Ask Muse to "refresh the Kairotope connector" so it sees them; in ChatGPT, open the Kairotope plugin and refresh it.
- If your assistant says it can't reach Kairotope, connect it again (step 2). In ChatGPT, press Connect on the Kairotope plugin.
- Plans are suggestions. Opening hours and traffic can change: double-check anything critical, like a child pickup, and never use Kairotope in a way that distracts you while driving.
- Kairotope works in the US and is being tested in Central Texas first. Driving only, for now.
